Refund Policy

Lips provides usage-based AI video processing through its lip synchronization API. This policy applies to paid Lips services when commercial billing becomes available. The current release uses demo credits and does not collect payments
1. Purchased Credits
All purchases of Lips usage credits are final and non-refundable, including unused credit balances, except where required by applicable law or where our payment provider approves a refund. Credits are for Lips services, not cash deposits. They cannot be withdrawn, transferred or exchanged for money. Complimentary and promotional credits have no cash refund value
2. Used Credits
Credits consumed by successfully delivered API processing are non-refundable except where required by law. Results vary depending on input media, the selected AI engine and processing settings. Dissatisfaction with an otherwise properly delivered result does not automatically entitle you to a refund
3. Failed Processing And Billing Errors
If Lips confirms a technical failure attributable to its service, credits charged for processing that was not delivered will be restored. Confirmed duplicate payments, incorrect charges and other billing errors will be corrected. This does not limit applicable rights relating to defective services or services not delivered as described
4. Requesting Refunds
For refund requests, billing disputes and payment issues, contact refund@lips.sh. Payments processed through Paddle, our Merchant of Record, can also be reviewed at paddle.net or via your purchase receipt. Our payment provider evaluates and processes payment refunds. Associated Lips usage credits may be adjusted or removed after a refund to prevent duplicate use
5. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy excludes or restricts mandatory statutory consumer rights, including applicable withdrawal periods. Customers in the EU, EEA, Switzerland and United Kingdom may have a qualifying 14-day withdrawal right, subject to applicable exceptions and consent requirements for digital products and services. Other jurisdictions may provide additional rights. Purchases processed through our payment provider are also subject to its refund policy and buyer terms
6. Policy Updates
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services, billing practices or legal requirements. The current version and effective date will appear on this page
